Coming to school every day makes a difference. If your child is absent please contact us as soon as possible. If you have concerns or difficulties with attendance please get in touch so that we can work together to ensure that have the opportunities and experiences that will help them enjoy today and prepare for tomorrow.

We take every opportunity to encourage good attendance with our weekly Attendance Cup being awarded in our Good Effort Assembly on a weekly basis to the best class. We also run raffles at certain times of the year where pupils with good/ improved attendance get a chance to win a prize.

We recognise that pupils can be ill or have important medical appointments and need to have time off school. Sam our Family Liaison Officer is here to help and support our families in any way she can, please don't hesitate to give her a ring, if she can help she will!

 If your child is not able to come to school please remember to ring in and report pupil absence on our recorded message machine or the office. We operate a first day response, so if we don't hear from you, you will get a phone call from Sam to check everything is alright and if we can help in any way.
